Hi, I'm Ryo. I work across product design and development.Currently, I'm at LayerX, building SaaS products that digitize back-office operations with AI. I also lead design system initiatives across our teams.Previously, I was part of the early teams at CoeFont, an AI voice synthesis platform, and Pocketsign, where we developed identity verification services using Japan's MyNumber system, collaborating with local governments.At the Tokyo Institute of Technology, I studied quantum information, focusing on secret sharing using quantum entanglement. And a student club sparked my path into design and web development.My interest in making started at age five, when I discovered a magazine article on how to build a radio and decided to try it myself. Since then, I've been passionate about creating things—from electronics projects to everyday tools and software.Outside of work, I'm passionate about film photography, electronics, and typography.
